About /'fu:di/
Hi, I'm Federica, a.k.a Kika :)
I'm an Italian expat living the Swiss life since 2010, soaking up the stunning scenery of Zurich since 2016. Hailing from the majestic Dolomites mountains in Italy, I bring a dash of Italian flair and a whole lot of pasta passion to my new Swiss home.
With a background in hospitality - thanks mom for making me work in the family hotel already at age 12 ;) - and a detour to study business administration in Switzerland, I've learned the importance of blending business smarts with a healthy dose of la dolce vita and cultivated a deep appreciation for bringing people together around the dinner table.
Now, let's talk pasta. Picture this: I'm on my way to a friend's carbonara dinner party, and what do I get? A text from that friend asking if I can bring guanciale or Pecorino Romano. Sound familiar? Yep, been there, done that. During my eight years in Zurich, I often found myself fielding last-minute requests for authentic carbonara ingredients, scouring multiple shops or settling for substitutes that compromise on authenticity (talking about using parmigiano and bacon).
It became clear that there was a gap in the market for sourcing high-quality, genuine Italian carbonara products conveniently.
Enter fu:di—a little project with big flavor!
No more running around town for the good stuff or settling for subpar substitutes. My mission with fu:di is to make the ingredients for carbonara accessible to all, regardless of location or culinary expertise. fu:di is the fixings for a pasta carbonara party that'll have Nonna nodding in approval.
So, whether you're cooking up a storm for friends, cozying up on the couch with a bowl of pasta, or channeling your inner Italian chef, fu:di has got you covered. Let's turn up the heat and bring a taste of Italy to your table.
Have a great [karbo’na:ra] experience,
En Guete,
/buòn ap·pe·tì·to/ !
